Bought a new spa from Apollo Spas. It arrived with 4 broken jets which were replaced for free.
Over the next 2 years every other jet broke as well. They changed the design of the jets making them of thicker plastic and with thicker holding tabs. Although this was an obvious manufacturing defect, they refused to replace them for free. 32 jets broke over a 2 year period.
Replacement cost about $10 each. The Apollo staff blamed it on everything they could think of except defective jets, (e.g. bad water chemistry, water too hot, etc.) Their warranty is supposed to cover manufacturing defects.
Every jet broke and the replacements are completely redesigned. How was this not a manufacturing defect?
